Lisa Matthews

Published poet and creative writing researcher Lisa Matthews has been a professional writer, tutor and creative practitioner for fifteen years. Dividing her time between running her own writing business, [The/Poetry/Fold], and her academic research, Lisa lives on the north east coast of England with her partner. She plays rhythm guitar and regularly writes features about music and songwriters, most recently for Mslexia magazine. Lisa writes a regular column, “Quiver”, in the queer section of The Crack magazine and was co-founder and Director of ProudWords, the UK’s only creative writing festival run by and for LGBT people.
