LGBT short story/poetry competition

Queer Ink has launched a short story/poetry contest with a first place prize of £200.
Fifteen special commendations will also be awarded, and all the winners will be published in the First Queer Ink Anthology.
The contest is open to fiction in any style, but the story or poem must have a lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans theme. Stories must be no longer than 5,000 words, and poems no longer than 42 lines.
There is a reading fee of £6 per story, and the closing date for submissions is 30 August 2008.
The winning entries will be announced at the York Lesbian Arts Festival which takes place in October 2008.
