Calls for homophobic MP to step down

More than 12,000 people have signed a petition asking for the Prime Minister to reprimand a Northern Ireland MP who believes homosexuality is worse than child sex abuse.
In a recent Westminster debate on the management and assessment of sex offenders, DUP MP Iris Robinson stated: “There can be no viler act, apart from homosexuality and sodomy, than sexually abusing innocent children.”
When asked to clarify her comments, Robinson said “I cannot think of anything more sickening than a child being abused. It is comparable to the act of homosexuality. I think they are all comparable”.
As the storm over her comments grew, the First Minister’s wife made an apparent U-turn stating that the recording of the debate did not accurately reflect her views. A Hansard official told the Belfast Telegraph that after checking audio recordings, Hansard was satisfied the comments were reported accurately.
In June 2008 Robinson was condemned after saying that on BBC Radio Ulster that homosexuality was an “abomination” that made her feel “sick”. She also said homosexuality could be cured: “I have a very lovely psychiatrist who works with me in my offices and his Christian background is that he tries to help homosexuals - trying to turn away from what they are engaged in.”
Robinson later defended her views, saying that “just as a murderer can be redeemed by the blood of Christ, so can a homosexual. … If anyone takes issue, they’re taking issue with the word of God.”
Iris Robinson, I hope that your vision of God is less judgemental on you than you are on others. I have a very lovely psychiatrist who works with me in my offices and his real world background is that he tries to help bigots.

As in a loving bond between two people of the same gender is synonymous with anal sex (the act superimposed on to the list of the sins of sodom).
Dont you just love how Christians morph their beleifs according to the editorial views of the day. Saints Sergius and Bacchus, a same-sex attracted couple married under Christian law and martyred seem long forgotten by Christians today. Which other religion picks and chooses its saints willy-nilly; cannibalising itself to suit an agenda?
This guttoral-minded, revolting, dirty old woman should be booted out on her arse!
