IconCompetition: win Heavenly Creatures on DVD

Cult classic Heavenly Creatures is re-released on DVD and Blue-Ray on 12 September 2011, and to celebrate we have 3 copies of the DVD to give away.
Heavenly Creatures tells the true story of an intense friendship between two teenage girls in 1950s New Zealand. Worried that the girls’ affections are unhealthy, their parents try to separate them, with horrifying results.

It was the film that put Lord of the Rings Director Peter Jackson on the international film circuit, and rocketed Kate Winslet to fame.

Heavenly Creatures was the winner of the Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1994, nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the Academy Awards, and was included in The Guardian and Time Magazine’s top ten lists of that year.

The re-mastered version of Heavenly Creatures is available on Blu-Ray and DVD from 12 September 2011. The RRP is £22.99  for the Blue-Ray, and £17.99 for the DVD.
