US rock star Courtney Love has claimed she had a one-night stand with English supermodel Kate Moss while in Italy a decade ago.

According to Love, 45, in an interview with Hot Press magazine, she slept with Moss, now 36 and in a relationship with singer James Hince, in a hotel in Milan, after Moss chased her around the hotel room.

The widow of Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain had previously told the press that she had sex with a model but only now has ‘revealed’ her identity.

“It was Kate Moss. She doesn’t care. She talks about it and so I hope she doesn’t get mad that I outed her,” she said.

“It’s a great story for the grandchildren, so yeah… Kate wasn’t doing a lot of drugs, it was just a thing that happened in Milan in the 90s. It happened and it was fun and whatever.”

Former heroin addict Love, who is the lead singer of rock group Hole, said other female friends had also slept with Moss. “I feel like such a kiss and tell,” she told the magazine, but insisted that her and Moss were “good friends”.
