This Friday 28th January will see the official launch of L Fest 2011 take place at the Purple Lounge in Birmingham.

L Fest is a multi-activity weekend festival for lesbian and bisexual women and their friends. The festival will take place from the 22nd – 25th July 2011 and will be held at the Shropshire County Showground, Shrewsbury.

L Fest activities will include ‘Its a Knockout’, football, volleyball, canoeing, dance classes, speed dating and more. The evening entertainment will include live acts Vicky Jackson, P!NK tribute, DJ’s and Faye Bagley. More acts are yet to be confirmed.

Early bird tickets for L Fest are available for £75 before February 14th (usual price £90) and include camping.

The launch event for the festival is taking place on Friday 28th January from 8pm at the Purple Lounge on Hurst Street in Birmingham. See L Fest for more.
