Beth Ditto is UK’s favourite cover girl

Beth Ditto has been voted the UK’s favourite magazine cover girl.
Ditto, singer of band Gossip, is a lesbian and an advocate of queer rights. She appeared nude on the front cover of the NME in June 2007, and was also named as the ‘coolest person in rock’ by the magazine.
Nominations for the UK’s favourite cover girl also included Princess Diana, Kate Moss, Jordan, Beyonce and Abi Titumuss and Victoria Beckham. Jonny Depp was voted by the most popular cover boy, beating Sean Connery, Brad Pitt, Prince William, George Clooney, Will Smith, Daniel Craig and the bookies favourite David Beckham.
The poll, organised by the Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) in support of Magazine Week 2008, was compiled with votes from the public and celebrity magazine editors.
Not a fan. But, to each their own.
