Lesbian erotica roundup and review

NoFauxxx logo October 27th, 2008

All this recent talk about lesbians digging on gay man porn has got me thinking, writes Kia Momtazi. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying the sight of a couple sweaty young blokes playing hide-the-salami. But seems only fair that you should also have the opportunity to get turned on by the sight of women like you getting off on each other.

Since most of you probably have better things to do than spend hours trawling the web for decent pro-woman pornography, I’ve gone ahead and done it myself.  While I’ve come up with quite a few goodies, I’m sure the list is far from conclusive. If  I’ve missed something delicious, please don’t hesitate to share.

Literary Erotica

Reading your porn is cheaper than watching it, and it’s also more discreet. After all, sounds of passion and flashes of undulating genitals are pretty hard to disguise, but written sex is still just words on a page. Lit-porn will require a little more imagination on your part, but at least everyone in a story can be as sexy as you visualize them to be.

Also, if you find yourself aroused by taboo themes (incest or rape fantasies, for example) you’ll find a lot more to read about than to watch. Icky as that may sound to some, remember that there are actually lots of women - including lesbians - who get turned on by such things. (If you need convincing, get your hands on a copy of Nancy Friday’s 1973 bestseller My Secret Garden, and prepare to have your mind blown). If you think about it, fiction is probably the safest place for exploring these fantasies. Plus, there are plenty of just such taboo tales online that feature only women with women.

Hot Reads

Literotica has more than 6,500 stories in their lesbian file. Unfortunately, the stories therein are simply listed alphabetically, which makes it harder to hunt for specific themes. Still, it’s probably the largest database you’ll find.

The girl-on-girl action at the Lusty Library is well organized, so it’s easy to go directly to the type of tale that gets you going. The site’s design is modern and efficient, which is a plus, but be warned: the few adverts they do display can be pretty graphic.

The Nifty Erotic Stories Archive could use a re-design, but contains quite a wide variety of lesbian sexcapades. This is the place to go if you’re looking for topics that stray off the beaten path - heh heh - but don’t worry, it’s very easy to choose or avoid what you’re getting into as you go along.

Cliterati, whose tagline is “because women like sex too,” also has a decent Lesbian and Bi section. The site’s design is sparse and smooth, which is nice, but the stories are posted in blog format, so you have to scroll through all of them to find what you’re looking for.

Because the content of all these sites is user-generated, it’s inevitable that you’ll come across some truly terrible writing. But there’s good stuff in there too. Plus, Literotica and Lusty Library let you search stories by author name, so when you find one you like you can stick with them. Happy reading!

Real Live Sex!

Does your idea of quality porn feature diverse, attractive, happy women authentically enjoying their sexuality? If so, you’ll be pleased to learn there are plenty of places to find it.

If you’re new to porn, I recommend starting with Beautiful Agony. Here, both women and men film themselves masturbating - from the neck up only. If it strikes you as tame at first, consider how intimate it can be to watch a woman’s face as she works herself to climax. (Hearing the sounds of her mounting passion doesn’t hurt either). Plus, because there aren’t any genitals involved, it’s probably the classiest video porn you can find.

Beautiful Agony’s sister site I Feel Myself (IFM) takes self-love to the next level. Here the ladies are filmed nearly or totally nude, pleasuring themselves in numerous ways. Even better, in IFM’s ‘friends’ section, you can watch female couples getting each other off while whispering sweet nothings, talking dirty and - in one scenario - doing guided meditations. The camera also usually lingers considerately on their post-coital stretching, snuggling and cigarettes.

If you want your porn to be specifically produced by and for lesbians, you probably can’t go wrong with Good Dyke Porn. Featuring both butch and femme women engaging in very explicit activity, it’s more raw than IFM - which may or may not be to your liking - and there’s a bit more variety in the videos.

You can also see plenty of sex between butches, femmes and trans bois in the Crash Pad Series. Straddling the line between fictitious and reality porn, each episode of the Crash Pad Series features a different dyke couple shagging away in the same apartment - the crash pad, presumably - while the camera records their passion from every angle.

The most open-minded viewers might fare best at NoFauxxx. This all-inclusive alt-porn site features gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual, trans and genderqueer couples doing all sorts of kinky shit, from fetish and role-playing to BDSM and bondage. Though the activities are a bit more hardcore than some other sites, the administrators carefully maintain both artistry and authenticity, as well as safety for all the participants.

The Cash Element

Of course, you can’t expect to see all this hot lesbian sex for free. You will need a membership to gain access to the best things these sites have to offer. Happily, they all offer promotional teasers to give you an idea of what’s in store. Browse around until you find one you can’t tear yourself away from, then make your investment and enjoy!

If you have a hard time justifying spending your hard-earned money on sex videos, consider it this way - each pound you spend is supporting the people who are working hard to make porn better for all women; participants and spectators alike.

It’s not a bad list at all Kia. I think you mean that it is far from comprehensive - and indeed it is.

I did ask your editor Missy if our real lesbian porn web site could have a recip link on lesbilicious, but apparently it can’t because lesbilicious will be penalized by Google if it links to us. Well Good Dyke Porn links to real lesbian porn anyway.

  • I thought the editor was ‘Milly’ not ‘Missy’?! Enjoyed the article Kia, well done.

  • Great list! I’m a huge fan of crashpad and good dyke porn.

I’d also suggest people check out Erocktavision, Bleu Productions, Fatale Media and Triangle Films.

An eclectic group of studios, but all of them make great lesbian content.

  • Yes Jen, she is called Milly. I confess I was feeling somewhat hissy when I wrote that last comment. :)

  • You might want to mention cyber-dyke.net and the work of Seattle-based photographer Heater Corinna in your list, they’re both relevant to this article.

  • Thanks Gold. I actually did find Heather’s website (www.femmerotic.com) while researching these sites. I thought it was gorgeous, thoughtful and artistic, and I had originally wanted to include it. I left it out because of space constraints, but I absolutely recommend that people check it out. She is amazing and her work is beautiful.

  • Fantastic list…another day lost to hairy palms ;)

  • With reference to the 8 Against 8 campaign to keep same-sex marriage legal in California

Pink & White Productions (the people behind Crash Pad Series website which is mentioned in the above article) has decided to donate all the money their company makes from signup sales made during the entire 24-hour period Thursday, October 30th, to the “No on Prop 8″ campaign (www.noonprop8.org) funding important commercials to air through the state’s prime tv stations that can change the opinions of many misinformed voters.

You can read more about this and also see a video message form crashpad director Shine Louise Houston - who is herself in a same sex civil partnership which will be annulled is 8 against the 8 fails to sway enough voters - by checking out this link.
    http://pinkwhite.biz/PWWP/vote-no-on-prop-8/

Pink & White have also asked affiliates of crashpadseries.com , of which I am one, to donate all their commissions for Thursday October 30th to the campaign, and I shall be doing this.

I hope no one will think this is some kind of scam to drum up sales. It is not.

    Thanks.
