Sh! sex toy review: the Rabbit Habbit
The Rabbit Habbit is the “Rolls Royce of sex toys”, according to Oprah magazine, writes Rosie Kirk.
Now I may not be royalty but I am a pillow queen, so I lay back, thought of England and took this pretty little thing out for a spin.
… And embarassingly few minutes later, my head is still spinning.
Anyone familiar with the rabbit vibrator design will know exactly what to expect. There’s the ‘rabbit bit’ – the vibrating rabbit with ears cunningly designed to flick and flap; then there’s the non-rabbit bit, which goes in if you so require it. Ahem.
Not every girl does “care for it, inside” (to euphanistically misquote Sarah Waters) and for those that don’t, this is still a brilliant vibrator. Because by golly does it vibrate. Don’t turn it up full whack straight away or you’ll spend the next week painting over the claw marks you left in your ceiling.
Why so powerful? The answer lies in the second of the two dials. One sends the ears flapping furiously, the other sets the shaft spinning. It’s not about making your cervix dizzy, of course – the secret lies in the 12 little plastic balls located in the base. As they spin they relentlessly massage the pleasure-glutton area that is the first inch or so into the vagina. Sounds odd; isn’t.
There are millions of rabbit vibes on the market, but this one is especially good. Not only is it a powerful machine, it’s also rather pretty, in all its glittery transculescent purple glory. And instead of messing around with buttons or dials, the controls are two simple sliders – much easier to manage when your concentration is elsewhere.
At £44.99 the Rabbit Habbit is not the cheapest of thrills (if cash is tight check out last month’s review of the Finger Tickler). If, however, you want a powerful and rather lovely-looking luxury vibe then grab your tiara and have fun riding this rabbit Rolls.
