Tegan Quin last week performed onstage without her sister Sara for only the third time ever.

Tegan played at Liner Notes, a mash-up of music and literature organised by SPIN.com. Tegan shared the stage with author Augusten Burroughs, and played ‘His Love’, a song she wrote for the audiobook version of Burroughs’ latest novel, A Wolf at the Table.

The gig raised more than $8,000 for Housing Works, a charity for low-income people living with HIV/AIDS.
