Men! Kissing! On TV! To sell mayonnaise!
June 24th, 2008
The GAYS have STRUCK AGAIN!
HOMOSEXUALS have been pushing mayonnaise to innocent CHILDREN, but after 200 complaints from morally robust Concerned Citizens, this affront to common decency has been BANNED.
These GAYS will no longer be allowed to confuse, alarm or intrigue the more vulnerable members of our society with egg-based condiments, but IS THIS ENOUGH? Will our sandwiches ever be safe again? Would YOU know what to do if you suspected your lunch might be turning homosexual?
Watch the BANNED advert below to see how the homosexuals are infiltrating OUR family values with their ordinary lives and light humour. Be careful, the advert is NOT to be viewed by the feeble-minded or those with questionable tendencies!
The above Heinz advert has been pulled off air after over 200 complaints were made to the Advertising Standards Authority. The ad has been called “offensive” “inappropriate” and “unsuitable to be seen by children”. (Actually, the advert is unsuitable for children, but not for that reason - products that are high in fat, salt and sugar can’t be shown in or around children’s programming.)
Incidentally, a French Connection advert (below) which showed two beautiful women violently fighting and then passionately kissing received 127 complaints but was not banned.

I complained… but only for them casting ugly men.
rich ∼ June 24th, 2008 2:26 pmAnd Robert De Niro’s wife probably sent in the other 199 complaints…
Milly ∼ June 24th, 2008 5:28 pmWhat’s so offensive about this? I’m gay and there’s nothing here that’s at all insulting. People are fucking stupid.
Nicholas Arnold ∼ June 25th, 2008 12:51 amPeople are definitely stupid. That is a great advert.
Georgia ∼ June 25th, 2008 9:38 amThat ad is genius :) Brought a smile to my face and made me want some mayo. You have to worry just a little bit about people who have nothing better to do with their lives than complain about stuff like this.
JT ∼ June 26th, 2008 4:07 pmWell I laughed at the first one, hilarious. It made me want mayo straight away. Is it extra creamy? :)
The second one was actually rather disturbing. I’d rather see it pulled from the air.
Andrew ∼ July 2nd, 2008 1:04 pmIn this century you’d expect people to open up more to things and accpept them. Gay people exist, deal with it -what’s the big fuss about??
There’s plenty of TV programmes that I think shouldn’t be aired during the daytime but are.No one complains about that.People/parents like this so pathetic- you’re teaching your kids to be as narrow minded and judgemantal as you.
Ely ∼ July 7th, 2008 4:42 pmDoes anyone else ever hear people say “oh homophobia doesn’t exist anymore, come on gays should get over themselves”! Well here’s proof that that statement is a load of bull. So countries start to legalise marriage and then we have people saying that homosexual relationships should not be seen by children. If children don’t know about these things from a young age, they think it is weird and wrong and something to be ashamed of. Every time we take one step forward we take another ten back!
lost fish ∼ July 7th, 2008 7:05 pmI love both of these ads! They both made me laugh, and the FCUK ad was highly erotic! I wish I could see stuff like this on American television but it would never achieve any acceptance here, our society is totally dominated by sexually repressed homophobic prudes. It’s so sad….
BTW, I’m much more offended by the marketing that exploits kids’ materialistic tendencies. My daughters have to watch these ads for dolls that have their own credit cards so they can purchase all the bling that they require, and my kids are growing up with that same mentality. It’s pretty hard to convince a thirteen year old girl that she doesn’t need to buy all her clothes at Abercrombie and Fitch when her friends have taught her that she ABSOLUTELY HAS TO HAVE IT!
The world would be a better place if we were better at teaching our kids that being able to love a diversity of people is at the heart of TRUE FAMILY VALUES, as opposed to the “family values” that are presented to us by mainstream media and the religious right.
OK, I’m stepping down from my soapbox now.
