December 18th, 2008

The latest Sarah Waters novel to be adapted for television will be shown in the UK on 28 December 2008.

Set in a Victorian women’s prison and featuring otherworldly ghosts and forbidden love, Affinity is a darker story than Tipping the Velvet or Fingersmith, the other two Waters novels to be adapted for television.

Affinity will be shown on Sunday 28 December at 9pm, on ITV1.

  • Yey! It is a much darker story, but a much better one IMHO.
