The L Word to be made into movie
July 27th, 2009
The L Word creator Ilene Chaiken has confirmed that The L Word is to become a feature-length film.
Speaking at the BlogHer conference in Chicago over the weekend, Chaiken confirmed that she is currently writing the script for The L Word movie.
The film will resolve the mystery of one character’s death at the end of the final series of the TV show.
There is currently no more information on which characters will appear in the film, or when it is expected to be released.
Plans for a spin-off TV series focusing Leisha Hailey’s character Alice were scrapped in April 2009.

Uh…if I’m not mistaken, all IC ACTUALLY confirmed was that she was currently writing the script…just because she writes a script, doesn’t mean that it’ll ever get made.
