Summer’s pretty much here, which means it’s time for Pride! Below are the June Pride events taking place in the UK and Ireland. If we’ve missed any out, feel free to let us know with via the comment box.

7 June: Plymouth Pride Event
Line dancing, belly dancing, samba, circus skills, Madonna tribute act. 11am-4pm, Plymouth Guildhall.

7 June: South Yorkshire Pride, Sheffield
Live music, women’s performance area, community stalls. 12 noon – 6pm, Cemetery Park, Cemetery Road, Sharrow, Sheffield

7 June: Scottish Borders LGBT annual BBQ
Barbeque and post BBQ disco party. 2pm – 5pm, Boleside Picnic Area, Galashiels

21 June: Dublin LGBTQ Pride Festival
Parade, rally and post-parade party. The theme for this year’s parade is ‘always the bridesmaid, never the bride.’ Champagne breakfast from 11am.

The UK’s biggest Pride event, Pride London, is taking place on 5 July. More details on that in the July Prides update…
